My packages are based on number of hours and number of prints.
In all instances you get a disc with your original pictures for you to keep – I do not force you to come back to me for more prints – they belong to you completely.
Please contact me at info@lorenstow.co.za for a quick quote.
I usually need 1-2 weeks to edit your photos professional in Photoshop.
I will contact you once your disc is ready for collection.
Once you have collected your disc, made your print choices and emailed me a list, it will take another 1 week until your prints are ready for collection.
Yes, I do work on Saturdays and Sundays, but these days are usually booked at least 2 months in advance. Otherwise, to accommodate families, I also do late afternoon shoots during the week so that parents can take as little time off work as possible and still be part of the fun of a family shoot!
I prefer to work with 2 – 6 people at a time, but I can definitely accommodate more, especially if it’s a large family shoot. I do not charge for extra people (my cost is based on hours and number of prints). Just remember that the more people, the more time is needed to capture everyone – in that way it may impact on cost.
You make a booking with me and based on the kind of booking it would work as follows:
Family Shoot: I like to do these outdoors at the Irene Dairy. I meet the family on the day and we spend an hour or so having the photo shoot. I will ‘place’ you where I want you for a few shots, but will ask you to act as naturally as possible. Then we spend the remainder of the shoot running after your children as they explore the farm inside and out!
Maternity Shoot: Here we work outdoors for natural romantic shots or indoors for more revealing shots. I have some ideas that usually work and you are welcome to ask me to do something specific that you have in mind.
Newborn Shoot: Here we work at your home, where you and your baby are most comfortable.
In all my photo shoots I prefer white tops – these reflect light better and make the picture ‘less busy’ and so your face is more in focus. If white tops are not possible, then plain colour tops would work fine.
Family Shoots: We work at a real farm, so it is important to dress comfortably for the outdoors (jeans and a white t-shirt is great) and in clothes that you don’t mind sitting on the grass, walking the mud and getting a bit dirty.
Maternity Shoot: it is all about the tummy! Wear figure-hugging clothes and stay away from black (this will ‘shrink’ your tummy rather than accentuate it).
Newborn Shoot: white, white and more white! I will work in your main bedroom and white/cream bedding is essential. Dress baby in a simple white babygrow for the best effect.
